"You stay there to watch the lake freighters going through lock seven. The hotel is basic, no hair dryer but the location is in an old well established neighbourhood. A ten minute walk past the Anglican church to a wonderful Pho 18 Vietnamese restaurant. It is cozy and welcoming. The food is excellent. Go to The Early Bird restaurant for breakfast. Our grandsons said the food was better than Cora’s and the servings were huge! We arrived at 9:39 am and by 10:00 the place was packed with regulars."
