"This might just be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I came straight from work, upon my arrival to reception, the receptionist (Amelie/Amelia?) could not have been more welcoming. As I was checking in, I was offered a complimentary drink which was lovely. I was then offered to sign up to the free members club which I did and immediately got a free room upgrade and 2 mini bottles of Prosecco for the room as I was having a girls night with my best friend. The room was huge, the view was stunning and the breakfast was to die for. Can't wait to come back. Every second was pure bliss. Thank you so much for such a magnificent stay. "

"One of the most stunning settings for a hotel - the most gorgeous view of Clifton Suspension Bridge, lovely selection of rooms, and excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner, as well as a choice of two bars. The location is fabulous for Clifton Village, and walkable to other parts of Bristol. Staff did their best to help even though there seemed to be some staff shortages when I was staying. There is a great eco-friendly scheme if you are staying for more than one night, where you can choose to have a drink voucher instead of having housekeeping for however many of the nights you want. Overall a wonderful stay, and I would love to come back. "

"I travel to Bristol for work at the uni quite often, and so I’ve tried a few different hotels around Clifton. The Washington is my favourite to stay in — always low noise, always friendly staff, always comfy and clean beds. The building is a little worn down, inside and out, but if you’re looking for a consistently good, lower cost hotel to stay for a few days, this is the place."

"Spend a long journey here and really impressed. Wonderful team with brilliant manager!! Female friendly and pet friendly! The majority of their staff are warm and outgoing girls!!! Very cozy and chill place to be!!! Best local place for traveling, bus stop at their front door, 10 mins walk could lead to many landscapes and nice bars, shops and restaurants!! Have gardens just across the street for wonderful dog 🐶 walking. On top of that, 2mins walk to Bristol swimming pool and gym accessible for public!!! Suitable for sporty guys to stay !!! The reception team are always welcoming and supportive!! Rachel, Clara and Elena have done a fantastic job!!!They deserve further raise in salary. ❤️They are extremely friendly and strong 💪 enough to help guests with carrying luggage!! When ever guests have problems with room or facilities, they are always here with supportive attitude. The reservation here is not as that strict as other hotels, they could help you with specific requests like bath tub or so if guests called in advance🥰 The house keeping team here is also very nice with caring in details. Haven’t got the chance to know all of their name, but they’re so careful!!!Sometimes even help me folding with my pajamas on the bed when making up room. "Lovely hotel in prime location, spotlessly clean room was very comfortable. Slight issue with electrics to bedside chargers sadly couldn’t be resolved but a minor irritation. Hotel very busy during our visit, all staff remained professional under pressure. Great"

"Great stay at the Bristol Hotel. Made to feel welcome by the receptionist Marian who was also very helpful. The room was cozy with a lovely view of the river. Comfy double bed but we did find it a little small. The room was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel is in a great location for restaurant's and exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again. "
