"Good location right near the train station and bus terminal. It's quieter than I expected - I only actually hear trains if I was paying attention. Room was decent for price and perfect for 1 person. Hotel looks new and well kept."

"The hotel itself was lovely and staff were great. The only downside we found was that our air con was very noisy almost sounded like running water and the blankets were extremely large and heavy to sleep in but other than that it was lovely."

"Unfortunately they are renovating the restaurant so limited menu in the bar. Also had to change lunch to another restaurant as they were drilling so too noisy. This will be finished in a few days though, and as I have stayed here before I know this is not normal and I will certainly continue to stay at the Priory and would recommend it. "

"It’s an outside sort of a place a good destined from town and I mean a fair amount of walking the hotel have everything you need good restaurant and actually big place with massive car park and gym facilities "

"The Coal Exchange is a unique hotel in a very convenient spot for Cardiff Bay. Steeped in history. Good value. Downside for us was room was very dark and whilst there was a dressing table there was no stool nor light so you couldnt use it... it was so dark in that part of our 3 people room ( 102) . There were also no extra pillows as you normally would have. Some of the staircases needed a good hoover and clean. Its such a lovely place just needs tlc and attention to those details that matter....

"The hotel is on a side street off a large shopping street, but toward the end of that strip of stores. A couple blocks away things become more lively. We were glad for the quiet. The room was absolutely lovely with a spa-like bathroom, comfortable furniture, plentiful linens, tea and coffee makers. "Nice hotel but dated. Could do with refreshing to bring Upto modern day standard. Bit more expensive than would expected and definitely didn't like the restaurant food standard wasn't good. Even under cooked chips and that's a something simple to cook."

"We were returning 25 years after getting married at The New House; celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. The hotel made the event even more special by spoiling us from the moment we arrived. "As normal with Village hotels - very well catered for all need. Usual big car park and amazing gym This was my second stay this week and unfortunately ruined by other guests being very load at 2AM and then 6AM. "
