"We only stayed one night for our daughter’s 8th birthday shopping trip, the staff decorated our room with ballooons and confetti and made a cake from towels! Absolutely incredible service. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in Bristol. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed was the comfiest I have stayed in! All shampoo and conditioner and body was is supplied too. Staff are so friendly. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the food did look amazing! "

"The Night potter wasn't helpful. Didn't give proper directions to get to the room. We arrived by 8 pm but the room wasn't ready which was okay as the lady receptionist was nice. She advised us the night potter would make up our room. We arrived later and check in with him. He just gave us the keys, didn't tell us where the room was. We proceed to wonder around trying to find our room. So we asked him on the way, he said take a left at the door and it is just there. And that he had told me earlier. I felt it was my mistake and apologised. When i asked my wife she said he did jot twll us where the room was in the first place. I let it go and proceed to the door and took a left as he told me and we reached a first floor and still couldn't find it. So we went back to the reception with our luggage to tell him that we couldn't find the room. He then said you got to go out of the main door , cross the road and go to the building to the left which isn't what he told us the first time too.my 7 year old son felt that the receptionist was a bit rude and wasn't interested in helping. He could have clearly told us that we had to exit the building and get into the road in the first place. This is not what you expect after travelling 7 hours. Nice property but would not recommend due to the service received. The Morning reception/manager was great very helpful as he had to cut 2 new keys as the 1st ones were made just for 1 night though we booked a 2 night stay. "

"The staff were very welcoming. I was traveling alone so decided to book the snug bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised. It was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, large disabled access wet room. TV and an extra rad if I was cold. For the one night stay it had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and service you could not fault"

"Had difficulty contacting host initially. No welcome pack with instructions for hob and oven. No working lighter for hob. No instructions about where to park and someone was using the space in front of the garage adjoined to the property. All matresses were uncomfortable and could do with being replaced. No plugs in bath or wash hand basin. Basic utensils in kitchen, no teapot or coffee pot. Washing machine but no indoor or outdoor facilities to hang clothes to dry. No coat hangers. Unable to use back garden as overgrown so children had to play out the front of the house. Switched on light on extractor fan and tripped the fuse box for all the sockets in the kitchen."
