"Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Swindon. Was ideal for a little weekend away prior to the Christmas chaos! The wife and I ate Dinner and Breakfast in the restaurant and on both occasions the food & service was excellent. We didn't use the pool on this occasion but can hopefully use it the next time we stay (which I'm sure we will). We stayed in executive room in the pavillion. The room itself was spacious with a balcony offering a lovely view. Our only slight complaint was that it would be...

"I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. "

"Wonderful stay and we will be back. Dog friendly, rooms and pub/restaurant and so close to Coate Water (walk across a field!). Thanks to Bridget who made us feel so welcome. Rooms were spacious and great touches, such as, enough plug sockets, glasses as well as tea making, built in shelf in the powerful shower... Word of warning. You need to ring the hotel if you want a dog friendly room, hotel.com doesn't facilitate this. Needs sorting Hotel.com,"

"It's a lovely hotel we have stayed before in both the main house and the outbuildings. Plenty of parking and beautiful views. Food and breakfast were nice. The main menu for dinner has changed since our last stay which I believe was the previous July. Personally we preferred the old menu we didn't feel the options were as good this time but that may just be down to personal preference. "
