"A lovely location with wood/lake walks directly adjacent to the hotel. The room was compact, but clean and well equipped with welcome gifts of water and biscuits. Bed good, shower reasonable, but TV a little small for the room size. Food in the evening and at breakfast was very good. All staff were ultra helpful, attentive and polite. Overall recommended."

"Very welcoming and friendly place to stay, staff were good, lodgings round the back of the pub are excellent, modern and clean with big rooms and comfy beds and on the whole the pub seems popular with locals. Things of note - breakfasts were excellent where you chose what you like the night before and served beautifully and the evening meals good with fairly regular fair but especially the specials small blackboards are top notch and are a bit more than special so watch out for those. Compliments to the kitchen staff. "

Great hotel, don't hesitate to book!

"The hotel was clean, it smells fresh and welcoming as you walk in. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much for them. The breakfast was great, plenty of options for everyone. The pool felt small but we did go Easter weekend so expected it to be busy. We had run out of tea/coffee/milk in the room and asked reception, it was a matter of 2-4 minutes before we got it, we were not expecting such a quick service. They also had activity packs for children and easter egg hunt which was a lovely touch."

Beautiful Country Cottage private Indoor Swimming Pool ,Hot Tub, & Games room.

Great house for a family gathering

"This house ticked all the boxes for us, large enough for 7 adults and 5 children. Positives - the swimming pool and games room were enjoyed by all and the games were free to play which was great, (not sure how much we would have used that space if we had to pay for the games). Lovely big garden. Enough parking for all our cars.Negatives - the address shown on Vrbo is not the actual address of the property (same location but slightly different address), this led to confusion when sharing the listing with other members of the group and ordering food to the property. The owner did say this has been an issue for a while and that they haven’t been able to change it with Vrbo, but was annoying for us. We were sent the correct address in the days before our arrival but still had to reschedule the food delivery. Needing to bring our own towels.Overall a lovely house in a good location near main roads and facilities - exactly what we were looking for. "
