"The price was very reasonable for San Diego. The staff at the front desk and the maids were extremely courteous and helpful. The location was convenient and although safe, not the best part of town. The room was very clean. The mattress was new and firm. Stayed for nine days in February 2025. Complimentary breakfast (while the room was being renovated) consisted of brown bags for each guest containing orange juice, banana or orange, yogurt, Jimmy Dean sausage sandwich, pastry, bottle of water and protein bar. Not the del Coronado hotel but would definitely stay there again."

"Truly enjoyed our stay here. Staff was always friendly, great location downtown that's easily walkable and easy to stay with a small dog. Really enjoyed our time there. "
