"Outstanding hotel with close access to San Marco! Private vaporetto service through hotel for a small fee. Incredibly delicious breakfast buffett with fresh fruit, croissants, rolls, bakery, fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, desserts and more. Wonderful staff and the rooms are impeccably clean. Quiet small community of Guidecca at night with restaurants, bars, coffee shops. We visited San Marco during the day and spent nights in Guidecca. Boat ride is 10 minutes. I have business 2X a year in Venice...

"This is a lovely and reasonably well-appointed apartment looking right out over the lagoon. We had been traveling for weeks and really enjoyed having a quiet place to regroup. While the host is fairly particular about the property, this means it is well maintained and very clean."

"This hotel is really far from the city, in vaporetto is like a 15 min ride to the St. Mark Plaza. But is really nice and relaxing place away from the noisy city. when we got there they inform us the bar was open til 12 but on two separate occasions they told us they were close and it was like 8pm. The men in charge (manager I assume) was really nice but the lady in the 'cafe' was really mean and rude towards her own employees which I really dislike. She yelled at them in front of us....

"It was our first Venice trip, and we are so happy we booked this place, amazing experience, beautiful island. 20 mins boat to Venice Mainland, and the boats run every 45 min. The hotel staff is very friendly. Food is fresh from the local farms. Highly recommend it!"

"It was great to see the antiques in Venice - without living in one! Neil's apartment was built in 2003 so everything is modern and works properly. Great location! We were always happy to get back to the apartment. It's away from the crowds, on a small canal and very relaxing. "Clean, friendly hotel in a quiet residential area with regular service from multiple water bus lines. Several good restaurants neaby as well as a grocery and bank ATM. Room was small but clean and well appointed. A/C worked (Venice can be pretty humid). Our only real complaint was that the bathroom, while nicely tiled and functional, is small and the shower is tiny. Both my wife and I could barely squeeze into it and you won't be bending over to scrub your legs. Good continental breakfast."
