"Great stay on the very peaceful island of Burano that is a short water bus ride from Venice. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and eat in the Osteria Restaurant and order the five course entree. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. They accommodated as vegetarians. They make their own wine from grapes grown on the property and the meal was complimented with 4 wine pairings that were very unique. We return there every year for a night or two"

"My friend and I have been traveling around Europe and this is by far the best accommodations we have experienced. Venice itself is beautiful but the owners of casa sulla laguna make it and Murano infinitely better. Breakfast was delicious and homemade and the owners are unbelievably accommodating and helped us get around the island as well as showed us places to visit. Could not recommend this beautiful haven more!"

"I had an excellent experience at Alla Vita Dorata. It's slightly off the beaten track, which means it's quiet and away from the tourist crowds. Yet, very close to the water bus stop from the airport and conveniently placed for the attractions. Communication from the owner was excellent before my stay, and service whilst there was caring and friendly. The breakfast in particular deserves mention for the great selection and quality. I'm hoping that I will be able to return to Venice, and Alla Vita...
