One thing we loved about the hotel is that it is old, it gave us the feel of old world Venice. If you are looking for a new fancy hotel, this is not the one. It is definitely old world charm."

"One feels like a movie star arriving in a taxi boat that docks next to the hotel entrance. Hotel has great old world style and charm. 1 minute walk to St Marks Square. Breakfast staff were helpful. Nice buffet with bubbly prosecco available as a nice start to the day. Staff were pleasent and a good concierge service. Only thing that lets it down was no view whatsoever from our room. "
