"I loved the building, lobby, decorations, and restaurants. The mattress seemed worn because there were saggy parts where most people sleep. We requested a microwave and it was brought to our room promptly. The carbon monoxide alarm started chirping at 3 AM, and someone came to replace the batteries. "

"This little hotel was so charming and a great place to stay in Monterey. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the fireplace helped create a cozy environment in our room. The hot tub was clean and very hot, and the breakfast was not bad! It could have included some protein and fruit, but it had yogurt, granola bars, coffee, juice, toast and oatmeal. It was located close to Cannery Row and the price was awesome. We’d definitely recommend it and come back!"

"Great location, friendly, professional staff. The property and room were a little dated, but very clean with a fireplace and balcony which was a big plus. Also like the coffee in the morning and wine and cheese hour every night. Super convenient to our son’s home on Hawthorne. We will stay again."
