"Majn entry door did not completely seal. Wind and light came though easily. Tv was completely unplugged, both ends of the power cable. Fridge did not keep things cold enough. Hot water did not come out of the shower head, but did out of tub spout. Ice only on 1st floor. Vending machines empty. Price was satisfactory and parking was plenty. Beds were very comfy. Very close to the beach."

"Classic older hotel in great location with excellent service. Great buffet breakfast and wine in afternoon with cookies at night. Short walk to beach and downtown with free shuttle if needed. A number of stairs to room. Not a big deal but could be with some walking issues."

"Love this hotel. Location convenient to Monterey Bay Aquarium for grandkids and adjoining rooms help with family time. But our room was missing the back sofa cushions and an extra blanket, and there were no facilities for recycling our paper/ cardboard waste."
