Good, no-frills, affordable place to stay with my dog for 3 nights. Also only about 20-40 minutes direct drive to places around Monterey Bay. Does have a lack of basic amenities (no shampoo, shower gel), only one tiny bar of soap for bathroom shower and sink. Staff friendly and helpful.

I we were passing through and going to stay one night, this would have been perfect, however, we were staying for four nights and without a frig, microwave, hair dryer, or coffee machine it was not practical. The staff was great and the room was clean. The bed was really comfortable as well.

We've stayed at Motel 6 in Marina a few times. We like that it's close to casual dining, beaches, and shopping. The motel is a bit dated, but our room was clean and comfortable. I would suggest adding more rooms with enough seating for two people, and more rooms with refrigerators, freezers, and microwaves.

Having laundry for the guests was wonderful. Room was larger than I expected. Room was clean. Had two ice machines, also nice, but one broke down and the other had a light on for two days that said it needed to be disinfected :-(. Having a restaurant a walkable distance from the hotel was convenient and appreciated. No need to get in the car after a long day of driving.
