"Simple and charming with just the essentials good jumping off point to Belize for "free zone" duty free shopping and casino. Tgere's not a lpt in walking distance but Uber and cabs are cheap. Food at the casino was surprisingly good. You simply can't beat the price and welcoming staff. Thank you for an enjoyablr stay, albeit short. "

"Incredible stay at Villa Marcella. The rooms are nice and comfortable and it’s great finishings. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ceviche caribeno. Pizza was tasty while relaxing in the pool. This is the place to relax and lounge around. No cell phone reception. WiFi is spotty. Bugs are around so load up on your repellant. "

"Booked this stay which was to be a king bed suite. Hotels.com contacted the location, as usual hsppens, and the reservation was confirmed. Oyo Hotel Marías did process the deposit for a king suite per the contract. The balance was to be paid upon arrival. When I did arrive the attendant would not process a credit card payment and demanded cash. That was the start of the breach of contract. This was a nonrefundable booking. "Made 2 res with these scammers. First one, uneventful. Checked with desk re: next res, a-o.k. On return the scam began. First they claimed it was not prepaid. Then they said they only did business with booking.con. i ANEVER DO i polutelt remibdd them of my first book with them. DO NOT PAY THESE SCAMMWRS. Not only did they want me to pay again, they wanted at a higher rate. I refused and had to seek where to go at this late hour. Very inconvenient, and sure to cost more than with orbitz online....
