"This hotel has amazing views. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was once very very nice but has gotten old. It's still nice but a little worn. "Booked this stay which was to be a king bed suite. Hotels.com contacted the location, as usual hsppens, and the reservation was confirmed. Oyo Hotel Marías did process the deposit for a king suite per the contract. The balance was to be paid upon arrival. When I did arrive the attendant would not process a credit card payment and demanded cash. That was the start of the breach of contract. This was a nonrefundable booking. Finally get to the room to find 2 double beds and it was not the suite I...

"Made 2 res with these scammers. First one, uneventful. Checked with desk re: next res, a-o.k. On return the scam began. First they claimed it was not prepaid. Then they said they only did business with booking.con. i ANEVER DO i polutelt remibdd them of my first book with them. DO NOT PAY THESE SCAMMWRS. Not only did they want me to pay again, they wanted at a higher rate. I refused and had to seek where to go at this late hour. Very inconvenient, and sure to cost more than with orbitz online....

"It's everything I look for in a stay. A bed, bath, a low price and that's about all I need. The bath could have used ventilation but the window opened onto a block wall. There was A/C, but the controls didn't work. It's freeze or stew. Not for the weak deluxe traveler. Met my low needs."

Pizza was tasty while relaxing in the pool. This is the place to relax and lounge around. No cell phone reception. WiFi is spotty. Bugs are around so load up on your repellant. "

"A Experience at Cristalino – The Best Hotel in Bacalar! Cristalino exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the customer service at check-in and in the restaurant was outstanding. The hotel is safe, quiet, and incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. The rooms were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was just what we were looking for. One of the highlights was the easy access to the water—you can literally walk in and reach a boat tour hotspot. Plus, they provide kayaks, which made exploring the lagoon even more enjoyable. We didn’t know it at first, but this property actually sits on one of the seven cenotes in the Bacalar Lagoon, which made our stay even more special. The location is also ideal—just a short 5-minute drive to the center of Bacalar, where you’ll find great restaurants and shopping. I was told multiple times that this is the best hotel in Bacalar, and they absolutely delivered. I will definitely be returning!"
