Must have been apartment building at one time, has a faded 1970's Miami Beach vibe before the restoration and trendiness. Neighborhood okay but not charming. "

"This property should not be on travelocity. It is a run down, bug infested, water damaged, no hot water, no facilities, no help to drag luggage up 2 flights of stairs...I am a 73 yr solo female traveler and felt unsafe the whole time I was there. No effort on this makeshift hotel to accommodate in any way. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"Location is Chetumal couldn’t be better. Our view looked out on the bay. The studio is big between 700 & 800 square feet. Very large balcony and high ceiling. Staff is very nice but no English. (Google translate) Internet is fine, broke while there and was replaced with new router. Cons: poor water pressure adequate to shower but just barely. I assume it’s condensation from the air conditioning and fridge but there’s intermittent puddles of water below the air conditioner and around the fridge....

"The location is great. The small Cabin was unique. The property felt safe and parking in the street was easy. There is air conditioning and light in the cabin but no electrical outlets to charge your phones, iron your clothes, etc. Water in the shower was chilly but then it comes out fresh after a while (only cold water in shower valve). The weather is in the mid-80's, so it is easy to get use to. During check out no one was available until an hour in a half later. They were holding our drivers...

"From the moment you arrive you have become part of a family. Owners and staff are super friendly and kind and there are many stories to be told. As a senior I would have liked to see a grab bar in the shower, there was nothing to hold on to. The shower is strictly overhead, bring a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry. "The property is beautiful, the staff is incredible, the food and cocktails are excellent! I had no complaints. We stayed 3 nights and it was exceptional. The walk to town is a little far but we did it twice! I wanted the exercise anyway. The staff was so hardworking, friendly, and helpful. I will come back if I'm in that part of the country again! "What an incredible tranquil stay. Staff is incredible, morning breakfast is healthy and so clean. There’s a bocce court and the restaurant has a simple menu that’s vegan friendly but also serves incredible rib eye! Hotel is set in the jungle with a short stroll to the lagoon for a sunrise kayak ride. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay. This is just outside the centro which was fine for us since we had a car. We will definitely be back. "
