"Our stay at Puerto Azul Hotel Y Club Nautico was good overall. They accommodated our very late check-in at 1:30 am, which was appreciated since our flight was late getting into San Jose. The breakfast was good, and we also attended a boat tour to Tortuga Island, which departed directly from the docks at the hotel, which was very convenient. "Gorgeous property, jacuzzi by the pool was broken but there was a private one. Food was amazing grounds were incredible. A bit cooler than arenal. Close to airport in the hills outside of San Jose. Luxury experience. "

Great place to stay

"Beautiful setting and spectacular view from our room. The pool is beautiful! The beach is nice, but access to the water is a bit challenging. The service in the restaurant is a bit slow, but not a huge deal, considering the view. All of the food was excellent, as were the cocktails"
