Large 3 BR Condo, Incredible Views, Families, 5 Min Walk to SPECTACULAR BEACH

Golden Reef Condominium is located next to Punta Leona Hotel & Club, a 750-acre reserve in a rainforest home to iguanas, scarlet macaws, toucans, white faced monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths, coatis and more. At only an hour and a half drive, it is the closest beach to Costa Rica's capital, San José and the San José International Airport (SJO). The perfect home base for any number of tours in the area. Most notably, Punta Leona is home to Playa Blanca, a white sand beach which has year after year won the highly sought after Eco Blue Flag (Bandera Azúl Ecológica) with a 5 out of 5 star rating – one of only 2 beaches in all of Costa Rica to garner that rating. And it's a 5-minute walk from the condo!

The condo has all the comforts of a modern home with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, washer/dryer, air-conditioning units in each room, cable TV, free WiFi and a very large terrace. As our condo is located on the 4th floor of the building, you will enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Pacific ocean, the landmark rock of La Leona, Playa Blanca, as well as the flight of scarlet macaws, pelicans, and numerous other wildlife. The unit has two private parking spaces located within the Golden Reef complex. Families with children will love the pool area with slide. Beach toys are also provided in the unit.

In the nearby towns of Quebrada Ganado, Jacó and Herradura, you will find a variety of grocery and souvenir stores as well as plenty of restaurant choices in addition to many places to book canopy, horseback riding and deep sea fishing tours.

- We can re-rent the condo for the same dates and rental rate.
- If the condo can be re-rented for a partial number of days, a refund will be issued for those dates only.

Property is roomy and has great views. The hike to the beach is only 5 minutes, but you have a steep hill to climb. The entry to the condo is about 12-15 minutes from the main road. This was the only downfall of staying here.

Fantastic Condo With Amazing View!
The condo was very well appointed and the view from the back porch was stunning, especially at sunset. The beach is very close by and there were plenty of good restaurants once you leave the property. The property host Yvette was always accessible and helped in any way she could, including golf cart rentals and answering other general questions. She does a great job. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

The Condo was perched above a beautiful white sand beach. Spectacular views with Scarlet Macaws and monkeys to see. The owners were also great to deal with. All in all we will definitely be back. A place that everyone should have a chance to stay. Thank you

Wonderful experience. Very Safe. Nature everywhere. Birds, Tucanes, Lapas. Good snorkel. We were so lucky as we were Swiming/snorkeling with a big big big turtle at the south part of the beach for about 2 minutes .UNFORGETABLE The best beach of the area with no doubt.

Absolutely incredible condo!!!
Cannot say enough good things about this place!! Clean, comfortable, spacious, but most of all THE VIEW! We spent every morning on the porch drinking our coffee and marveling at the amazing view of the mountains, beach and wildlife. It was the best part of our day! Short 5 minute walk to the beach, easy access to a very clean and beautiful pool. Awesome local restaurants about 10-15 min away from the condo. Everything about our stay was wonderful, we can’t wait to return!!!

Fantastic view!
This was our second stay in this beautiful flat. This time, we were a group of 6, including my parents who are elderly (75+ and 80+), our daughter and nice (teenagers) and us who are in our 50ies. The flat is spacious, well planned and the location could not be better. We all had the privacy we needed and had also big social areas to enjoy together. We loved the balcony, which has a wonderful view and is very well furnished and spend a lot of time there. Looking forward to going back!

Amazing view
If what you are looking for is a beautiful view, this is your place. The only way to get to the beach is walking and the up hill walk is very very hard, definitely not for seniors. Also is better to take with you all your groceries to cook your own meal due to getting in and out of the property its about 25 minutos and more if they send you by the public entrance, witch happens to us upon arrival. The security guard on site, Jimy, was very helpful and friendly. The apartment needs some minor refurbishment, specially with the kitchen utensils ( some are missing and the existing ones needs to be replaced) and the bathroom faucets. For the price paid I will expect good hot water with nice shower heads, ( in one of the bathrooms there was no hot water at all, and some at the other two), also it will be nice to have good kitchen knives, serving spoons, table placemats etc due to its necessary to cook on site. The kitchen appliances are very good quality.

The place was lovely. Like most other locations in CR, driving to the condo can be a bit hairy if you're not ready for it - very tight. The only issue we had was the power went out for a little bit one evening, but the owner was working on it immediately as was the condominium staff. Very responsive. Be sure to confirm with the host which beds you intend to use so that there's no confusion about bedding. Highly recommend.

Must stay!!! Hidden Costa Rica Gem!!!
Wow what a view! It doesn’t get better than the patio and view this condo has. The pool was also amazing as well as the beach that’s a short walk from the unit. Unit was very clean and owner was well organized and responsive. Would recommend staying here to anyone and is worth a stay on your Costa Rica Vacation. We saw macaws and iguanas daily from the balcony. Loved our stay only issue was that we wished we had longer!
