"Very lovely hotel. Situated about 15 minutes away from the main centre of Florence, a very nice walk and takes you away from the bustle at the end of the day. The hotel is immaculately decorated and very clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the owner also is very hands on and ensures everything runs smoothly. The little bar is intimate, they serve afternoon tea between 5 and 730 which was a lovely addition. Breakfast is great, and caters for all. I would definitely stay again. "

"The location is excellent. Close to the train station and nestled within the city center. The rooms were very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great. The staff at the front desk was a little rude at times, but I’m thinking it may have been the language barrier, as my husband and I are English speakers. "Hotel Colomba has been shut since the covid-19 epidemic in March 2020 and never reopened. They haven't returned any of my many emails and cut off their phone lines.
