"All of the people were extremely friendly and polite and I received great service. However, one of the primary reasons my wife and I chose the palace hotel was the beautiful pool and spa area with the vaulted glass ceilings. This area was closed for our entire stay, which was very disappointing and put a major damper on the experience. I don’t know if it was possible but would have been nice to know that would be true ahead of our stay"

"Beautiful property, and due to it being in the financial district, the area was pretty much like an abandoned town after working hours. We do love the view from our high-floor, spacious conner room. The sunset was breathtaking. Staff were courteous and friendly. "

"I was checked in efficiently and quickly...my room was nice, spacious and clean...the jacuzzi was hot and relaxing...the gym was decently equipped with weights and cardio machines....the temperature of the swimming pool was just right...Bistro 888 surprised me with their delicious entrees and the wait staff are all super attentive and friendly including the hostess. The hotel is quite a walk from Powell BART station but it was manageable...I will definitely stay here again."
