This time we decided to stay in the Carillon Beach Inn. The property is worn and in need of a good cleaning and painting. Each unit is privately owned and managed by a local company. "This particular room is on the third floor and was ok, sound wise until the last part when the Harley-Davidson riders rolled into town. Apparently they just drive back and forth gunning their throttles all night long. That is when the room lost all of its charm and good vibes. It's just too close to the road and the bridges and thus the motorcycle noise was amplified to unacceptable levels."
