"If you are looking to stay here be aware they do not offer breakfast. The chairs and umbrellas on the beach come with a price. And our shower did not have a curtain or shower door, only half a partition. The parking lot is across the street, and always had empty spaces, so parking was never a problem. "Having never been there before I had to make a choice out of the dozens of hotels on MB. I chose well! Croydon has spacious, comfortable and clean rooms for a reasonable price.The whole hotel has a nice feel to it and the beach is a half block away. A convenient and quality restaurant is attached (separate business). The rooftop deck is very nice. The staff is professional and helpful."

"My sister and I spent six nights at Hotel Greystone. We loved the rooftop pool/bar and the happy hour deals were so fun! We stayed in the Standard King room, located in the Collins building and it was perfect for what we needed, as we spent most of our days out and about! The walk to the beach was maybe 3 minutes and having a chair there was fantastic. We enjoyed all of the local restaurants, bars, shops, cvs across the street, etc., and have already discussed coming back next year! "

"This was a beautiful property however I really didn’t feel as though I got the best Customer Service. When we initially checked in, we were a few hours early. Being that we had just come off a cruise we were extremely tired sleeping in the lobby. Initially I was told that our room was not ready. "This was truly an outstanding facility—I’d love to visit again and again! The staff were incredibly friendly and amazing. I can't thank them enough for all their support during my stay. The only downside we noticed was that the bathroom tended to stay quite wet, as the shower area wasn’t fully enclosed with a door."

Located in a leafy side street away from the traffic but just 2 blocks from the beach Plenty of recent eateries nearby and round the corner from the hop on hop off bus stop. Yes the decor is a bit dated but the room rate and location more than make up for the cosmetic imperfections. Helpful staff, especially Paula on reception."
