"Location is located next to the bar & late night entertainment. I had young teens and I did not feel comfortable letting them explore. We’d venture out early and there would be drunks sleeping on the street. But the hotel is well maintained and the staff helpful. The area would be great for anyone out to enjoy nightlife in Tokyo. "

"Very large hotel about 6 minutes walk to the closest subway. The rooms are pretty small as is usually the case with Japanese hotels; maybe an upgrade would help. There wasn't much in the way of a wardrobe to unpack but luckily here there was space under the bed for suitcases which wasn't the case anywhere else we stayed. "The basic rooms are small but the property is centrally located in Tokyo and very close to the Higashishinjuku-shinjuku subway station. The breakfast (in the attached Royal Host restaurant) is a little chaotic. If you eat breakfast later rather than earlier, they run out of items like bread and milk. They replenish some of those items, like milk, but not others. There is a good coffee machine, many juices, cold and cold teas, as well as a few breakfast items from which to choose."

"Great location, room was small but clean, and good value for price. Hotel staff replenish towels everyday, front desk very helpful and friendly. Hold your bags before check in and after check out for a period of time. Hotel was located right in heart of electric town, plenty to see and do, close to a Tokyo Metro station and 7/11. Even though a busy area, hotel was quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again next time we come to Tokyo."
