"It’s about an 8-10mins walk to the nearest metro, so quite accessible. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are comfy and clean, although the sound proofing not perfect. The breakfast buffet is decent, with lots of extras (ice cream bar was a hit with the kids). Free “happy hour buffet” and candy bar were nice touches. Good value "

"I was in Taipei for a very short layover and wanted a place that was cheap, conveniently located, near transit, allowed for late check-ins (my flight landed after 10pm), and that would hold my luggage for a few hours while I ran around trying to take in a few sites. The Taiwan Youth Hostel & Capsule hotel exceeded my expectations!!! It did all that - it’s literally within a couple of blocks of one of the exits for the Main Station - but was quiet too! I actually managed to get some decent sleep...

The first night we arrived, it was already 11PM but my husband and I had not eaten dinner yet. The front desk staff not only recommended a local restaurant with delicious food but walked us to the restaurant and ordered for us. Such an amazing experience, answered our questions quickly. Would stay again next time we come to visit. "
