"Poppy cottage is comfortable both inside and out. The owner was lovely . Loads of information on walks in the surrounding area. "A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."

"The Hampton is basically The Hilton without the expensive bells and whistles. However, don't let this opening statement put you off staying as it's unbelievable value for money. Everything was spot on for our weekend...(Stayed for Uttoxeter races).The Hotel is in the middle of the F.A.'s not so little baby, St Georges Park where the England team train and is a fabulous set up. (I wouldn't take any notice of the people who say that there's football memorabilia everywhere...it's not a museum, but...
