"An amazing stay at a fabulous hotel. The hotel is situated in the prime Nabq area of Sharm el Sheikh. We had a deluxe pool view room, and from our ground floor terrace, it was no more than 10 steps to our sun loungers. Sami, the towel guy is amazing! He makes towel pillows for guests and enjoys a chat. He’s one in a million and will look after you well. We were up early each morning, we’d put our own towels out (before he’d even started work), and by the time we came back from breakfast, he’d worked his magic for an extra comfortable relaxing time in the sun. Milad on the bar was another fantastic worker. We tipped him a couple of dollars in the first couple of days, and he brought drinks over throughout the day. He would even bring me my Coke Zero if I went and sat on our terrace! Directly outside of the hotel gates there’s a metro supermarket where you can buy anything and everything at a fraction of the price of the hotel shops. Directly across the road was La Strada, with a whole host of shops and restaurants if you fancy a change of food. We visited Arab Bucks on our final night and paid £18 for a pizza to share as a starter, two main courses, one being the mixed grill, along with two glasses of red wine and a Coke Zero. With the exchange rate being 65LE to the £1, you can get a lot for your money. If you want to buy alcohol for your room, there is a Duty Free shop at La Strada. However you can only buy from there within the first 48 hours of arriving in SSH. "

"All the staff are very friendly and great with kids. Nothing is too much trouble. Around the pool area is sun loungers are limited the staff will go and get more and lay them out for you. My daughter loved the kids club and animation team work tirelessly. We loved it so much that we are going to rebook for next year. "

"Our first visit to Sharm El Sheikh was unforgettable, and this resort exceeded all expectations! Our room in the Luxor building (top level) was spacious, spotless, and impeccably maintained. A special thanks to our housekeeper, Mohammed, whose attention to detail and creative towel origami made our stay extra special. The resort had everything—beautiful pools, a fun aqua park, and a stunning beach. A highlight was learning archery with Piero, whose energy and enthusiasm made it so much fun. Our daughter loved the kids’ club, thanks to Rym’s warmth and care. The entertainment team was outstanding, especially Victor, whose charisma and passion lit up every show. From start to finish, the staff’s warmth and hospitality made all the difference. With top-notch service, great facilities, and delicious food, this resort left a lasting impression. We can’t wait to return—highly recommended!"

"We chose Parrotel as we had stayed at its sister hotel lagoon last year and were more than satisfied. We live in Nabq and it is convenient for going back and feeding our cats. The Aqua park hotel made us welcome from the moment we arrived. It was my 70th birthday and the staff were fantastic even providing a cake. A special thanks to our waiter Gooma who was excellent. We have stayed in several hotel and can recommend this as great value for money. We will certainly book again soon "

"We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Great facilities and very helpful staff. Good choice of restaurants - all good, Hama was our favourite. Two downsides for us - Spa was excellent but very expensive - given location of hotel, not feasible to access alternatives. Also at this time of year, it can be windy which makes snorkelling and diving from hotel difficult. Overall - thoroughly recommend."

"This is a good hotel which, now being 20 years old, is showing a few signs of its age. Only small things, but certainly some of the upkeep falls short of a 5*experience. The staff work hard to make you feel welcome and assist wherever possible. Pool staff are efficient and always happy to speak with you. Plenty of poolside sunbeds, all with good mattresses. Pool towels changed daily, although the water in the unheated pools was freezing (in January). Beach was ok; gritty sand. Poor quality sunbeds and mats; definitely not 5* in this area. Small bay that is only waist deep at best, so not much scope for swimming, but safe for small children. Food on the whole was good, but a bit repetitive, as often the case with mass all inclusive catering. Breakfast very lacking unless you just want eggs and pastries. Limited lunch options and a very limited choice of what to eat at the pool and beach restaurants. Asian and Indian a la carte were excellent, in terms of voice and taste. Good quality evidently can be achieved if they want to. American Diner was ok too, but did not try the pay extra seafood restaurant. All inclusive drinks are all local and, to be frank, really not very good. Distinctly odd tasting and well below usual strength. Room was huge, bed rather lumpy, bathroom a bit dark but all acceptable (again, the finish, detailing etc were not to 5* standards. Overall a good stay, but closer to a 3* than 5*. Grounds/gardens were beautiful and well kept"
