I'd go for a dip in the ocean right next door and then hop into the pool. Very relaxing. Ask for a room, second floor, overlooking the pool as this gives you a nice view of the ocean as well. Very good location in Hilo "

"We’ve stayed in the Volcano area three times and this was the best accommodation by far. Check-in was flawless and our room was clean, large, and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything. There was a mini-fridge with freezer and a microwave. There were also a few necessary cups, dishes, silverware and glassware. This is SO important in Volcano, as there are so few dining options. If you bring a well-stocked cooler, you could spend several days here comfortably. We would stay here again."
