"The hotel is in a need for renovation. The bathrooms are way too old. We visited the hotel also about 7 years ago and it’s aging quickly. It’s conveniently located within a walking distance to the grounds of Australian Open tennis tournament (the reason for our staying there), but for the next visit to Melbourne we will select a different hotel."

"This is an older place with a very small check in counter. The rooms are a decent size and the studio a good kitchenette. Just be careful with the toaster as the smoke detector is sensitive. I cooked once and it was good enough with the basic cookware, but there's no microwave. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are too soft. The bathroom is a good size.
