"Great hotel. Conveniently located to explore the city. A block away from transportation and city tour buses. The only note for this hotel is that on the 2nd and 6th floors they allow guests to smoke on their balconies. There is no guarantee that if your room is located in these floors, it won’t smell like cigarettes. That was our case. They acknowledged it and gave us an upgrade. So make sure to ask to stay away from these 2 floors. Everything else was great. Amazing staff. "

"I stayed at Mayfair Townhouse 3 times. The rooms on the ground floor are nicer in my opinion. The hallways are very narrow, with a lot of steps. Noise coming to the room when someone walks or carries bags on other floors. Great location, good value - but nothing “extra” luxury. "

I got there early and not only was my room ready but was also upgraded to a superior room with a balcony.
