"The hotel is situated in a great location for wandering round the city or jumping on the train. Comfortable beds, nice sized rooms, excellent shower and bathroom. The breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious! The pool and spa facilities were very good also. Would return again in a heartbeat. "

Bit worried at first being against the Trainline but there’s two separate windows that fully open/ close if wanted, so you cannot hear them at all; that’s a guarantee! Extremely clean room with no damage, everything worked and very well decorated. "Overall it was a nice hotel. The room was not soundproof, and being on the first floor meant hearing people in the dinning room/restaurant as well as other people in rooms. Not a modern hotel, but it was clean, which is always good. Reception was great, and house keeping were great too. "

"Big BW hotel in the calm neighborhood of Ehrenfeld, Cologne. Hotel is clean, reception desk ladies helfpul.. My complaint is about temperature of the room, which I complo also to the reception. They said it was normal but it was not.. so i believe i will not prefer the hotel during winter times"

"A very good hotel with lots around it. Bit worried at first being against the Trainline but there’s two separate windows that fully open/ close if wanted, so you cannot hear them at all; that’s a guarantee! Extremely clean room with no damage, everything worked and very well decorated. Lots of amenities and nothing wrong with it at all Staff were insanely friendly and could speak English and German, with lots of advice and assistance wherever. The ground floor was consistently clean and this is a perfect location for solo travellers like myself, or couples or groups Genuinely my expectations were definately met and more, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone"

"This is a beautiful and quaint property facing the river. I stayed one night in a double room. Was on the corner with view of the river on one side and the promenade in the other. The staff were lovely. They gave me wonderful recommendations and held on to my bag after checkout as my train did not depart until 5pm and I wanted to get some more sightseeing in before leaving. The room was spotless and the decor is very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the strong shower head pressure. Would absolutely stay here again!!"
