"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

"The view was great from the top floor with even a small little balcony! It was a great experience. Only thing to look out for, this is 6 floors up a steep staircase with no elevators. I only had carry-on size baggage, and I don't have issues lugging bags up stairs. If you do, I don't recommend. Otherwise, loved it!"

Like other apartment locations, you can occasionally hear other residents opening/closing doors and talking, sometimes during the night, but we generally slept well - one of us on sofa and the other up in the loft. The apartment is situated to the south a short tram ride (about 10 mins) from old town/Dom or about a 30 min walk along the river which is pleasant. "We had a fantastic holiday at this lovely accommodation. We had everything we need and the property was nice and clean. It was very handy for any shops we needed. In the immediate vicinity it was very quiet and peaceful and very handy for walks, cycle rides and hiking direct from the house. Visiting Cologne and Bonn was very easy and they are great places to visit. The hosts were very friendly and easy to contact if needed. Would really recommend this to anyone interested in a relaxing...
