"The hotel/lodge is going through a renovation program and I stayed in a renovated room - a comfortable, modern design. A few thoughts on the room design: there's an auto on-off for the lighting in the bathroom which is strange and not desirable - I'd rather have dimmer switches so that each guest's specific lighting levels can be achieved easily. Also, the corridors in the hotel are long, brick (on the lower floors), and serpentine as they twist and wind to the elevator at the far end of...

"Great stay with all facilities available "

"Really great location, only a few minute walk to the Skybus and Spencer St. Room was very basic but clean and tidy. Had a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Full length mirror on back of the door. Only downside was the curtain in my room didn’t block light out very well. Price was good for a short stay. I would reccomend. "

"Always a delight to stay at the Jasper. Great area, very lively and vibey. Right next to Victoria Markets, a great variety of eateries from the recently hatted Patsy’s to Asian cheap and cheerful.And only a couple of stops away from heart of the city on the free tram service. "

"We had a great stay at this hotel, thanks to its fantastic location and friendly staff who were welcoming. The room was clean and offered an amazing city view, which made the experience even better. However, the kitchen area could use some maintenance, as a few things seemed a bit worn and in need of attention. Despite that, the overall stay was enjoyable and comfortable."

"One that offers privacy where you can do your business and showers. A lot of hostels have common showers, but this alone takes the win if your too shy to do the number 2 in an open setting. Definitely recommend staying here. "
