"We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The location was perfect—just outside of Hilo, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while still being close to everything we needed. It was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring.The owners were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to talk to. They made us feel so welcome from the start, even greeting us with a cute surfboard welcome sign. It was such a thoughtful touch. They also gave us great recommendations on local activities and informed us about the erupting volcano—something we hadn’t been aware of. Seeing the eruption ended up being the highlight of our trip. It was a true bucket list experience we’ll never forget!The room was spotless and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Parking was easy and convenient, which was a huge plus. They even provided snorkeling gear and beach equipment, saving us the hassle of renting and making our beach days even better.This place truly made our vacation. "This is an amazing off grid property, it is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. To just sit on lanai and watch the water is the best. Super clean and hosts are very welcoming."

"Loved the view from the living room, dining room, and lanai - 180 degrees of ocean. We even saw whales!!The hosts were very responsive. We had trouble with a bedroom light, they had it fixed the next day. And when the power went out while we were away, they texted to warn us, and supplied flashlights and drinking water to make sure we'd be OK.I can't recommend this place enough!! Next time we travel to Hawaii I hope it's available!"
