"The staff were incredible - so friendly and helpful. This was my first time ever staying in a resort like this but they explained everything well and were really attentive. It’s a beautiful property. The dining options felt a little limited when I was there because one of the two restaurants that serve food beyond breakfast was closed and there isn’t much around, although I had a rental car and was able to travel. Also, the resort fee and what it allegedly pays for is disappointing - although...

"Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the ocean with also the sounds of the ocean waves. The staff was responsive and friendly. So close to Kahalu’u Beach Park with wonderful snorkeling. The room does not have air-conditioning, but it has wonderful louvered windows and a ceiling fan, and also a room fan which we didn’t need in February."

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"The people who worked there were so friendly and the room was so clean. It was so convenient to be able to check out a bike and ride around town. I would reccomend anyone to stay here who is visiting Kona and I definitely would stay there again if on a trip there to Kona. (unless I can just move to Kona of course, however I'd still stay there anytime given the opportunity)"
