"So as Marriott properties go, this one is spectactular. The beds were comfortable--great bathrooms, FREE washer dryer (so great at the end of the day to dry the bathing suits) and free water bottles and water filling stations everywhere. You also have access to the Mauna Kea (next hotel up the beach) where the food is better (and more expensive) and there's a different beach for a change of scenery. We rarely visit a place twice, but Hapuna Beach is pretty close to perfect. "

"This was the perfect oasis for our brief stay in Kona. Far enough away from the crowded downtown area but still super close, we love the room, the beach access, and the convenience. Very quiet area, and tastefully decorated and clean. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "
