A book with all of the information you’d need about the property, about the National Park, and about the area was provided. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Perfect place to stay right outside of Volcano National park. "

"From the house photos, and location at 2,500 feet, we were expecting rain every afternoon, but only saw it clouding over in afternoon and on two days had clear blue skies to sunset. The deck was very wet in the morning with dew. It is a lovely house, with a great deck to enjoy breakfast from, set in a beautiful, extensive, private, tropical garden, which we loved walking around. We enjoyed the great, very peaceful, relaxing, location that was within a ten minute drive down the hill to Kona, and...

"Our 4th time to stay here. Love the location and listening to the surf at night. We saw all kinds of marine life as well as cardinals, mynas and other birds. A windy road getting in and out,but all part of the experience. Dan is a great host, available if needed. The closest town,Ocean view, is a nice place to go for dinner or groceries. A great place to go for relaxation and away from the party crowd."
