We were given a room of poorer quality than was paid - it had no balcony or window (as booked). Breakfast on the last day did not include regular eggs and bananas - just a bun with ham and alioli, coffee and a smoothie and sluggish water-melon. Still we paid the same 5 CUC/pers. Noisy fridge. Insect larvaes spotted on the wall. This slum is an ultimate compromise to comfort. Cafe on the ground floor were usually closed. Chicon is probably one of the dirtiest streets in Old Havana in 2/3 consisting of slums.
