Sonia was a lovely host as was Nelly. It was quiet and clean. Excellent morning coffee and refreshing pool. I stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. Many steps and not for those who can’t do them. I found it a great workout and the views from room 103 were spectacular. I would book again without question!

Im a 20 year old female who stayed here solo for two days before my friends flew in and i have say i was scared staying alone but this location is super safe. There are many walkable restaurants, galleon offers transportation, the place is great and the view is beautiful .Now for the owner 10/10 shes amazing. BOOK GALLEON HOUSE

Very quaint. Close to things. Amazing view from our room. Very helpful and sweet staff. That said, it was 60 stair steps up to the desk. Another 12 up to the room. Some paint peeling and chipped tiles. Overall we really loved the Galleon House. Not luxury but an awesome local vibe.

The location is great for Charlotte Amalie and the price is affordable. It is reminiscent of European hostels with a share bathroom for some rooms and a light continental breakfast each morning. Galleon House is set into the hillside in a rustic, multi-level property. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs with your luggage. We enjoyed the authenticity of our humble room even though the mattress was quite saggy. I would not be surprised to learn that Galleon House was once a pirate hotspot.

Galleon House was accurate in description. Staff very accommodating. Climbing the steps is the only detriment for some, but there are very few places on St Thomas that level.

Very cute no frills lodging. Wonderful staff. Not new but well maintained. Also very clean. I had heard there would be steps involved. Was not prepared for the 50 steps up to the office. This is not counting the fact that the bottom step is at the top of a two story driveway.
