"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"Great location just steps from Cooper River park and Rainbow Row, right in the Heart of historic Charleston. Great restaurants and galleries nearby and in the property. The room we stayed in was small, but comfortable. Staff is terrific, but no tip for the bellman who retrieved our stored bags but didn’t bring them out to the valet stand."
