"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

Besides hearty breakfast there is a wine and cheese event and hot chocolate cookies and candies event each evening which is great as guests can get to know one another and socialise. Period charm and great service from staff. Will definitely stay there again. A little gem."
