"Gracious, lovely hotel with excellent amenities, warm and responsive staff, and in a perfect location for getting around Charleston. We loved having breakfast each morning, followed by wine and snacks in the evening, and freshly baked cookies before bed. Coffee, tea, cold drinks, fruit, and candy available all day. Sitting by the fireplace in the lobby sipping wine and reading a book. Just perfect."

"This was a beautiful, historic property, with many amenities and a lovely garden - all with parking too! You have everything you need for a high end experience right in the heart of Charleston. The hosts are welcoming and have provided many nice touches. The beds are comfortable and the linens a notch or two above what you usually experience. The apt. is spacious and feels like home. I loved the kitchen! All in all a wonderful stay! "

"We were upgraded to a two bedroom after a leak in the original room we had. We loved the room for it was quiet, especially having a toddler and baby with us. We enjoyed the view of church street to have our daughter see the horse carriages go by. The location was great because it was a good walking distance we feel. Definitely had a great experience with staff! Thank you for having us Church Street Inn, we will definitely be back! :) "

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
