"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"A well located property near the historic market. Easy walk to great shopping, restaurants, harbor, College of Charleston and historic homes. The staff were all very nice. The room we stayed in (#101) was small but nice. This particular room had no real view other than the street outside, and it was somewhat sandwiched between the building entrance and the elevator mechanical room, making it a little noisy until everyone was in for the night. I’d stay there again but ask for a different...
