"I left a note stating it was my birthday as a little joke but it really was and I didn’t think housekeeping would see it they saw it and left me a snack on the counter which was the sweetest thing anyone did that day since I had to spend it alone so I really appreciated that gesture would definitely stay there again! "The property is situated on the back bay and end of SF airport runway so lots of view to be had. The surrounding area appears to be hotels. Easy access to freeway to airport and SF. Pleasant staff. area appears to be safe."

"My stay at the San Francisco Marriott Union Square was pleasant. The hotel's prime location near Union Square was perfect for exploring shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great city views. The staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The only minor downside was that some areas felt slightly dated. A strike was going on, and this detracted from the experience, but I don't fault the property for this. I recommend this hotel; it is great for business...
