"Our stay at the Sofitel Dubai Palm was amazing. The staff and facilities were fantastic and if we were looking for a chilled beach holiday we would definitely come back here. The only negative we had was that outside of the hotel there is nothing to do on an evening. This is the same for all resorts on the Palm so isn’t against the Sofitel. "Taj on the palm was excellent, i would stay here again. Its quiet, nice and the staff are very smiley and helpful. From the time we checked in till check out, we loved the place - the rooftop 6th floor bar was one of the highlights, amazing views of the sea & burj al arab from there. "Got there to find a building site facing our room and the started working around 7am which was very annoying.. they did swap our room to the beach side .. bear in mind this building work has just started and may go on for sometime. Quite surprised to be charged for ice to my room should be free . Breakfast very good and beach food excellent as well.. "
