"Beautiful historic hotel- great location, convenient walking to shops, Fort, Pettah, train station, Hospital Street dining options. Staff outstanding. Room clean & very clean. We did ask for king bed yet for 2 king singles. Their pub (Inn on the Green) was great low-key. Pool excellent even whilst area under renovation. "

"The property is mall and cozy but intimate. There is a pool in the courtyard, a few chairs. Staff is kind, food is tasty and nicely plated. Room are very spacious with a living room sort of but maintaining the property needs some work. Such as walls and floors, sofa and chairs in room needs refurbishing or replacing as such are ripped and stained and it takes away from the overall ambiance. Housekeeping also needs some work especially the morning housekeeping staff who did a really poor job...

"I booked with them deluxe room with king bed ocean view, they tried to give me garden view and they were trying to convince me it is the best room in the hotel, my friend discovered that the room was garden view, when we told them, they took us to an ocean view room with with single beds, they tried to put the 2 beds togethers with 2 Matterses with 2 covers. I was so upset because they were trying to cheat me, I asked them for king bed or upgrade with king bed, they gave me the upgrade with king...

" The staff were great, but I did have a couple of issues with the room. The shower leaked, and the sink drained slowly, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, I had a good experience, but it seems like the rooms could use a bit of maintenance and an upgrade."
