"I loved this hotel so much. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and historic. The pool was amazing and the grounds were great. Above all of it was that the staff was so incredible. They were helpful and kind. I was traveling alone and the restaurant manager was completely helpful to me, giving me tips and also prepared a special seafood meal for me that was one of the best i have ever had. I will definitely come back here next time im in Sri Lanka! "

"The Galle Fort Hotel is a truly lovely boutique property set within the walls of Galle Fort. We stayed in the Grand Apartment room which was gorgeous with fabulous furnishings. The Bar and lounge areas are both lovely and the pool, loved the tiling, was a must to cool off. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was great, wasn't keen on their coffee bean but other than that faultless. "I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend."
