"This hotel has spacious rooms and lovely windows to look over the city. What was absolutely outstanding was the customer service and genuine care from staff. We needed to extend our stay on our day of check out after being hospitalised in kandy. The staff organised everything and even waited until we were discharged from hospital at 1230AM to hand deliver us our room key and make sure we got in safe. "

"What a fantastic experience it was staying here. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. "Really beautiful haven in Mirissa, sitting right on the river and with a lovely pool. Sitting on the balcony, we saw monkeys, lizards, bats and a woodpecker. The furniture was all beautiful and they'd thought of everything, it was very comfortable and the AC was very powerful. The manager couldn't do enough to help, giving fantastic food recommendations, arranging free tuk tuks to get to town and welcoming us to use the pool after we'd checked out"

"Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners."

"We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after. "

"The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. "I arrived at the hotel at around 5 am and the owner kindly let me check in at that time (I had paid for the previous night) so didn't have to hang out at the airport forever after an extremely long trip to Sri Lanka which I had read was an issue at other hotels. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very basic but clean. There was tea and coffee in the room but no heating kettle, so you couldn't actually make coffee even though instant coffee was sitting there was there which was a bummer. ...
