For food they arrange from nearby restaurants. But owner is quite helpful, n quite bigger room size and bathrooms. If can adjust with above requirements...then its the best place to live in bentota, its quite chill and silent...so that you can enjoy yourself."

"The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean. The carpets and bathrooms were not as clean. The showers were unreliable, with low water pressure and unreliable heat. The staff were not hospitable or conscientious and the hotel listings we’re confusing. No food is available from the hotel. Overall the space had a dreary colonial vibe."

"Beautiful Geoffrey Bowa- designed boutique hotel set in a beautifully tended garden. This is our second stay & it didnt disappoint. The staff remembered us after 4 years! Very good service, excellent breakfasts & evening meal. There is a train line running along the bottom of the garden and the train clanks along it every hour or so. We loved the quirkiness of it. "We'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Negombo. It's in a perfect location for exploring and had a great pool which was an added bonus. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We could walk into Negombo to the local restaurants and cafes and it was a perfect start to our holiday. The rooms were well kept and clean! Thank you!"

"I had one of my best stays in Sri Lanka at Sam’s! The host was sooo friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, AC and WiFi worked well, bathrooms were big and water was hot! Absolutely amazing stay for the price, I was worried about everyone saying the street was loud but it wasn’t bad at all when we went to bed around 1030-11pm, everything quieted down. Overall my favorite stay in Sri Lanka, highly recommend staying here "

"Very beautiful place. Very quiet, green and glorious forest around it. The lake next door is beautiful. The sunset from the restaurant was beautiful. One slight issue I found was big red ants in bathroom (didn't come to bedroom and didn't trouble when in bathroom but was concerning). Rest everything was fantastic. "We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "
