"We were welcomed with big smiles and fresh complimentary juices. Our room was upgraded without additional fees. Good variety of breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mendis & Sudish who work at Breeze Restaurant. The hotel and surroundings are very neat, also easy access to the beach. Near to seafood restaurants. "The Taj Bentota is a very big hotel right in the beach. The pool area is spectacular with plenty of space and sunbeds. The breakfast is excellent with something for everyone. We didn’t have supper in any of the restaurants but did have some very good pool bar snacks and drinks. There are lots of excellent seafood restaurants just outside the hotel entrance gates, across the railway track. Overall I would definitely recommend the Taj Bentota and ALL the staff but especially the Duty Manager...
