All the staff went above and beyond for us....including a canal view upgrade, a complimentary buffet breakfast for both of us and a sparkly bottle with a lovely card on arrival. "This is a great hotel, nice and modern. All the staff were lovely and helpful, check in and out was easy. Hotel was spotlessly clean, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious, the fridge and safe were an added bonus. Loved the little window seat. Great secure parking, which we pre booked. Breakfast was lovely and not busy. Lots of nice fresh food to choose from. Good location, it's a 5 minute walk to the metro and a 10 minute ride into Amsterdam. You can buy your tickets at the hotel. There's also a little supermarket, (Jumbo) and a McDonald's 5 minute walk away. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. "

"My stay at the Ruby Hotel was great. The ambience is so chic and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming always willing to the help. There was also a restaurant/bar with small bites in the hotel which I didn’t get to try but the menu was always provided when asked. Metro was a 5 min walk, about 3 dinning restaurants within a 5-10min walk. Very quiet and clean area with a lovely marina near by. Just a 10 min car ride to the AMS airport you cannot beat that. About a 15-20 min car ride tops to the center city attractions. But my only concern was housekeeping as they didn’t do a throughly room clean. "
