"This wonderful little cottage in the woods is the perfect place to relax, explore the dune reserve and get away from it all. You are woken by birds and apart from the wind in the trees, that's the only sound. The house is well equipped and in the perfect location for stroll to the nearby town of Schoorl, or as a base for exploring the surrounding area of dunes and forests and of course, the amazing golden beaches. "Wir haben hier im Sommer 24 eine tolle Woche verbringen dürfen. Die Unterkunft bietet auch im Detail alles, was man für die Ferien braucht. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, allenfalls das Rufen der Esel auf dem Hof oder ein paar Vögel sind zu hören. Ideal, um sich auszuruhen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben immer ein offenes Ohr und auch mal Überraschungen wie selbstgeräucherten Fisch bereit. Nochmals herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit!"

"Even helemaal met het gezin tot rust komen. Ondanks zware regen was het lekker gezellig in onze tent. Ook prima voor een anderhalfjarige. Wij komen zeker een keertje terug!"

"The cottage is in a lovely sunny position, very quiet and the beds are comfortable. It’s not a spacious cottage for 6 adults - the sitting room, main entrance, kitchen and dining area are all the same room; one sofa with 4 seats; very little ‘kitchen’ space but adequate hob and oven. The owner’s family were warm, friendly and helpful. I would stay again if holidaying in Holland, but not with 6 of us, really it suits 4."

"Everything about this stay was perfect. The tents were fantastic, really comfortable and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The location was brilliant, it was really peaceful and the countryside was gorgeous, it was close enough to visit Amsterdam too. Our 2 year old loved playing in the park and trampolining. Peter the host was friendly and accommodating. We just wish we'd booked to stay longer! Would 100% recommend."

"We are a family of 4 from Canada, and this was such a lovely place to stay and explore the area including Amsterdam. It was very easy to hop in the train. The guesthouse was clean and very cutely decorated. Marcel was very accommodating and kind. We didn't have much time to visit him because we were so busy, but he checked in with us frequently. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"Es war super! Die Lage ist perfekt, die Aussicht auf die Felder toll, klein, aber fein. Einfache, aber total funktionale Ausstattung. Abstellmöglichkeit für Räder und Parkmöglichkeit am Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und zum Strand läuft man tatsächlich nur 2 Minuten. Leider hatten wir fest damit gerechnet eine Waschmaschine vorzufinden, da dies bei FeWo direkt so beworben wurde. Somit hatten wir weniger Kleidung und Handtücher mit als wir gebraucht hätten. Netterweise haben die Hausbesitzer uns in ihrem angrenzenden Wohnhaus ausnahmsweise in ihrer Privatmaschine eine Maschine waschen lassen, was wirklich sehr sehr nett war....
